Custom-built around how your business actually operates — not the average of ten thousand others.
The thesis
Most businesses have always been priced out of custom software. Their workflows don't fit off-the-shelf tools, and software built around how the business actually operates has always been out of reach.
AI changed the math. What it costs to build has collapsed. What software can do has expanded. For the first time, the businesses that needed custom software most can actually have it.
Replace the spreadsheet workflows eating your team's week. Purpose-built for your exact process — not a configured template, not a licensed SaaS with your logo on it.
AI and agentic workflows where they actually move a number — document extraction, intelligent routing, automated classification, drafting and decision support. Built into the application, not bolted on.
Stateful connections across the tools operators already use — CRM, calendar, billing, messaging. Wiring real systems together reliably is engineering, not automation.
AI front desk software for US sauna installers. It qualifies homeowners after hours, books site visits, and turns each installer's catalog into branded quotes and a lightweight CRM workflow.
Most businesses aren't running on no software — they're running on partial software, with the gap filled by spreadsheets, email threads, and whoever holds the institutional knowledge. Work that should live in a real application doesn't, and the drag compounds.
Not an AI strategy. Not a chatbot. Real AI, built into the operational workflows where it earns its place — and left out of the ones where it doesn't. We identify where AI actually helps, and where it creates more problems than it solves.
Most of the tools your business runs on don't talk to each other the way you need them to. Bridging those gaps is high-leverage, rarely solved by off-the-shelf tools, and exactly the kind of work that keeps getting deferred.

About
Cymba Labs is a custom software studio built for businesses: the ones running on spreadsheets and workarounds because real software was always too expensive, and whose workflows have never quite fit what off-the-shelf tools assumed. We build purpose-built operational software: the thing that fits, not the closest approximation.
The studio was founded by an engineer with a background across healthcare and fintech: industries where production software runs inside hospital networks and financial infrastructure, and where being wrong has real consequences. That experience, combined with the economics shift that AI has made possible, is what Cymba Labs is built on.
AI is genuinely transformative, and it's also genuinely overhyped. The work is figuring out which is which inside your specific business — and then building the software that captures the real value.
We also build our own products in verticals we believe in. Sauna Scale — software for US sauna installers — is the first, currently shipping and forming a pilot cohort.
Small by design. Direct line to the engineer building it — no account managers, no layers between you and the work.

No pitch. Bring a real problem and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help and what that would look like.
